Activity on International Human Rights Day

Every year, December 10th is marked as the Human Rights Day. On this day in 1948, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) followed and adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a document that lists down basic human rights guaranteed to the population of the world.

PHF also conducted an activity based on Human Rights Day at PU Gender Studies with CWS on 10th December 2018. PHF realizes that we should make a number of efforts at national level to provide and protect fundamental Human Rights. Because majority of population is still deprived from their basic fundamental rights.

Many times people are killed or beaten to death if they give their opinion against the poor performance of the authorities or institutions. PHF also highlighted and raise the voices to adopt proper measures in order to protect the right to quality of education and employments, freedom of speech and expression.  Seriously efforts are needed to eradicate this evil. The purpose of this activity to “NO ONE MUST BE DEPRIVED ANY OF HIS/HER RIGHTS”. Pakistan cannot be prosperous until its citizens get all their fundamental rights without any discrimination of race, class, creed and area. We will have to accept this fact before visualizing a better future.
